Single tooth implant installation with a crown is the best solution for those of you who has a single tooth missing. All patients are required to take a CT scan to identify the bone level. If you do not have enough bone and your bone is not strong enough to support the implant fixture, bone graft may be required before implant installation. In case you need a bone graft, you will have to wait 4-6 months after the bone graft surgery until an artificial bone and your bone are attached together. Then, we can start an implant installation. Now, you will have to wait another 4-6 months until the implant fixture and your bone are attached together. Then, we can proceed the final procedure of crown installation. To complete the whole procedure, you will need 4-6 visits including consultation.

Single Tooth Implant Procedures

Step 1: Start with examination and take some x-rays of the area

Step 2: At this stage, the implant is installed. If conventional implants are done, a healing abutment or cover crew is placed on and left for about 4 to 6 months to integrate with the jawbone before the next step is taken. If immediate loaded implants are done, the temporary crown is loaded onto the implants

Step 3: The final step is to fabricate and install the permanent crown onto the implant

Step 4: You should expect the new tooth to fit and function just like your natural tooth. Please follow your usual dental hygiene to maintain cleanliness

Implants with fixed bridge are an ideal solution for those of you who have lost several teeth.
